“We both started out as professionals in the ready-to-wear world, but we’ve always worked on instinct, following our imaginations. When we started customising bags, a friend encouraged us to sell them, so we launched our brand on a whim. We were surprised by the response. It all happened so naturally and with such energy! We were approached by a concept store in Mexico, another in Saint-Barthelemy, then Barney’s in New York... and this year Le Bon Marché in Paris got in touch with us. It all happened very quickly, purely through social networks, because we didn’t have a shop. It’s a family business: our mother helps us with the embroidery for the personalised messages. The handiwork that we do comes from her! The Mana daisy is a symbol of purity and kindness. We wanted something soft, with a positive message.”
